Lacey's and Walter's Goldendoodle puppies were born May 19, 2021. Lacey delivered five boys and five girls. All the puppies have cream to caramel coats. These puppies will mature in the medium size range (30 to 50 pounds). After eight weeks of nurturing, socialization and training they will be adopted by their new owners on July 17, 2021.
See below for weekly development reports with pictures and videos for this litter.
Lacey's Goldendoodle puppies are six weeks old.
Lacey’s Goldendoodle puppies were six weeks old on Wednesday, June 30. Weight gain continues to be good. They are eating three meals a day of moistened ground kibble and enjoying it. Today they graduated from colored elastic ribbon collars to puppy breakaway collars. The breakaway collors snap apart if they snag on something during puppy play. My wonderful volunteers will get them used to having a leash attached to their collar as the first step in leash walking. In their forever homes, their owners will get them standard (non-breakaway) web collars for their daily walks. The puppies are comfortable with grooming tools including the noise and vibration of an electric razor which actually seems to relax them. I'm playing the desensitization sounds quite loud in the afternoon and they are still unbothered by sirens, doorbells, thunderstorms and fireworks. Weather permitting, they play outside on my patio two or three times a day. After a meal and a play session, they still huddle together and sleep in a pile. This afternoon I'm taking them for their first car ride, and they will get several more during the next two weeks before Adoption Day. The flexible fabric tunnel is a great new toy for the Goldendoodle puppies to explore. They run through it, tussle in it, run over it, chew on it and see if they can deconstruct it! The puppies are very social and interactive with each other, and are having a great time. View the video full screen with sound for the best experience.
